This is the category that makes the other three worth having. Rather than booking three trades and three windows, you hand over the whole list once and it comes back done. Joe works through it in one visit wherever the scope allows, and tells you honestly up front if something on the list belongs to a specialist.

• TV, shelf & mirror mounting

  Into studs or the right anchor for the wall, level, and rated for the weight actually hanging on it.

• Doors that stick or won’t latch

  Hinges, strike plates and a little planing. Almost never the whole door.

• Furniture & flat-pack assembly

  Built square and solid, with the packaging taken away.

• Blinds, curtain rods & closet rods

  Measured, leveled and fixed so they stay put.

• Caulking & weather sealing

  Tubs, sinks, windows and door sweeps — the cheapest work in the house and the most overdue.

• Hardware swaps

  Handles, hinges, locks, hooks and cabinet pulls.

• The punch list

  Whatever is left over. Send the whole list and Joe will tell you what he can do and what he cannot.
